Hey there Heather,
Thank you for your question and a warm welcome to planDisney!
Let me get the bad news out of the way first - unfortunately, if there are no available
theme park reservations then you are not able to visit the parks of the Disneyland Resort. You need both valid
theme park tickets and theme park reservations to visit. Sorry if that's not what you were hoping to hear!
However, I'm hoping that you have some flexibility with your visit dates, because when looking at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar (quite the mouthful, but a helpful resource!), the reservations open back up significantly after this coming weekend. I imagine this weekend is unavailable because of
runDisney returning - it's likely to be a pretty packed few days!
January and February are amazing times to visit the Disneyland Resort because, in my experience, the crowds tend to be a bit lighter. Plus, at the Happiest Place on Earth, it doesn't have to be your actual birthday to celebrate (just ask the Mad Hatter - he loves celebrating UnBirthdays).
If you already have your tickets and your dates are flexible, then all you'd need to do is make your theme park reservations on the
My Plans hub for a different time later in the month or whenever you're able to make it. Then, when you arrive, make sure to grab a
Birthday pin for your daughter so everyone knows to celebrate her!
Thanks again for reaching out, Heather! I do hope that you have a fantastic time celebrating your daughter's birthday!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
