We are planning a large family vacation next year from UK to WDW FLorida. My daughter will turn 3 on the day we travel - can her ticket be activated on this day (even without visiting a park)so she could remain a guest of Mickeys?

Hello Susan! Welcome to planDisney! I’m so thrilled to hear about your upcoming magical visit! I can’t wait to learn about all the beautiful things you and your family will get to do—the attractions you’ll ride, and, of course, all the delicious food you’ll enjoy at the theme parks, Disney Resorts, and dining experiences at Disney Springs.

Now, let’s dive into your question: As you may know, all Guests younger than age three don’t need a ticket since they are special Guests of the big boss, Mickey Mouse! Any Guest age three or older will need a theme park admission and a park reservation, if necessary, for each day you visit. Based on what you mentioned, it looks like your daughter will need a ticket for each of your theme park days.

This is actually exciting news if you’re planning to book a royal transformation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Magic Kingdom Park! Guests need to be at least 3 years old to participate, and with the wave of a magic wand and some help from the Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices, your daughter will look storybook-stunning. Since she will be three at the time of your visit, you’ll be able to book this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

I hope this helps with your planning, Susan. Please feel free to reach out anytime if you have any other questions before your fantastical getaway. We’re always here, happy and ready to assist our amazing friends like you!

    Cheers
