Maria from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am planning a 40th high school reunion in the Orlando area. I would like more information in getting park tickets, rooms, and locations for group gatherings. I am looking at 20+ people.

Welcome to planDisney Maria! Thanks for reaching out with your great question. I'm excited to help you! How wonderful that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort! You’re sure to create some amazing memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Planning a Disney World trip for a large group can be an exciting challenge! When I start planning our trip, my first step is to jump on the Walt Disney World website and use the Build Your Vacation tool at the top of the Walt Disney World Resort homepage. There you are able to enter your vacation dates, total number of adults and children in your party and you can search all resorts or just one if you have a favorite. You are then able to see the cost per night and can select the package option if you'd like. The page will then populate the total cost of resort and tickets. Before checking out, you'll be able to select a base ticket or the Park Hopper Option!

In order to reserve rooms at multiple resorts, they will need to be booked separately as each resort will require its own reservation. One option to do this is to use the Build Your Vacation tool. Once you've completed your first booking, repeat the steps and book your next resort. When I have done split stays this in the past, I find the easiest and most convenient way to book is to call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and have a Cast Member book the resorts then link your reservations together.

Once you've secured your resort hotel and tickets, next everyone will need to consider their entry method. MagicBands are my favorite choice! Worn on the wrist, these bands serve as your all access pass to the wonders of Walt Disney World. They're available for purchase at most retail locations within the theme parks, at the Disney Resort hotels, and at Disney Springs!  When linked with the My Disney Experience App, your MagicBand functions as your theme park ticket. Park entrances are equipped with readers to tap with your MagicBand for entrance. If you opt for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, your MagicBand doubles as your room key!

To share plans with everyone in your party, I would also suggest that everyone in your party create their own My Disney Experience account, if they haven't already, then adding them to your Friends & Family list. I would next suggest connecting your account to everyone in your party on their own devices. This will allow you to manage all your plans, including all reservations, from your own account while still being able to share reservation plans and tickets with everyone in your party.

I hope you find this information helpful Maria. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly and I'll gladly assist! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. We'll see ya real soon!
