Welcome to planDisney Deanna! Thanks for reaching out with your great question. I'm excited to help you! How wonderful that you're planning a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort! You’re sure to create some amazing memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
This sounds like a magical trip for your 2-year-old's birthday! For your full day at
Magic Kingdom Park, I would suggest a 1 day standard date-base
theme park ticket. Since Magic Kingdom has so much to offer for little ones, such as character meet and greets, rides like "it's a small world," and Dumbo the Flying Elephant, spending a full day here is a great idea.
To visit both Animal Kingdom Theme Park and EPCOT in the same day, you will need a
Park Hopper ticket. This allows you to start your day at one park, such as Animal Kingdom and then hop over to another park like EPCOT. Starting the day at Animal Kingdom will allow you to enjoy the early hours there, seeing animal exhibits and experiencing attractions such as Kilimanjaro Safaris and The Festival of the Lion King. Both are fun for younger kids! Next, hop over to EPCOT. You could spend the afternoon and evening exploring the park’s attractions, especially if you’re interested in EPCOT’s World Showcase or attractions like Frozen Ever After and the new
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.
These tickets will give you flexibility and make the most of your time at both parks.
I hope this information helps you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Deanna! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. We'll see ya real soon!
