I am planning to go to both water parks this September, but I can't swim. Am I allow to try the Shark Reef at Typhoon Lagoon. Any attractions should I avoid in any of the water parks?

    Hi Kit,

You'll be pleased to know that life vests are available for all guests to use at the Shark Reef in Typhoon Lagoon, so you'll be able to enjoy this attraction safely. One word of warning though, the water is freezing so prepare yourself!!!

Quite a lot of the water slides at both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach end in a pool of water, these range in depth but are often about 4 feet deep. Although easy to walk out of as a swimmer a non-swimmer may panic slightly whilst getting to their feet. All of the slide exits can be viewed before you ride so I would recommend you have a look and see if you think you'd manage, it's always best to be safe than sorry though. There are many slides that don't end in a pool such as the Toboggan Racers at Blizzard Beach so you'll still be able to have lots of fun :-)

    Have a great trip,

    Jo
