Hi Moms! We are planning to go to MK on Christmas day, but have bkfst at 1900 Park Fare that morning at 9:00. Will we have time to get into MK? I've heard that they may close by 10 a.m. if they have reached their capacity. Should we skip bkfst?

    Marcella,

My crystal ball is not working at the moment, so I can't tell you exactly what will happen with the crowd situation on Christmas Day, but my guess is that even if the Magic Kingdom does end up being closed for a few hours it won't happen as early as 10:00 a.m. for most guests. You can read panelist Bret's more detailed description of park closure HERE. As you can see, there is not an immediate suspension of admission to all guests.

Obviously I can't guarantee anything, but my educated guess is that if your are a Disney resort guest and you got to the Magic Kingdom by 10:00 a.m. on Christmas Day via Disney transportation, you would be very likely to get into the park.

If you are particularly worried, you could try showing up early for your 1900 Park Fare reservation and hope they seat you early. This could buy you a few valuable minutes of park time later on.

    Good luck!
