I am planning to go to Disneyworld on June. Is there accessibility for a Scooter for an older member and where to park a Van.

Hey there, Nora Maria! I'm delighted to welcome you to planDisney!

How exciting that you're heading to the Most Magical Place on Earth this summer! I can just imagine Olaf beaming with happiness. He's always dreamed of summer days filled with sunshine, laughter, and maybe even a little flurry or two to keep cool. With Elsa's magic bringing a shimmer of enchantment and Anna's fearless spirit leading the way, it's the perfect time to let it go and create memories that will never melt!

Walt Disney World Resort is incredibly welcoming and accessible for Guests who use mobility devices, which is one of the many reasons my family visits year after year. From thoughtfully designed pathways and complimentary transportation options that can accommodate scooters, as well as wheelchair-friendly attractions, and restrooms, every detail is crafted with comfort and ease in mind.

When it comes to parking your vehicle, Guests with disabilities have designated parking areas that are available throughout Walt Disney World Resort.  A valid disability parking permit is required to use these spots, and standard parking fees apply unless you're staying at a Disney Resort, where parking is complimentary.

Quick tip: Be sure to download the My Disney Experience app before your trip. To find helpful information tailored for Guests with mobility disabilities, open the app and tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) at the bottom of the home screen. Then scroll to "Accessibility & Health Services" and select "Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities." This section provides detailed guidance to help you plan ahead and help you navigate the parks more easily, offering valuable tips for a smooth and magical experience.

Nora Maria, I hope this information has been helpful. If you have any additional questions, you've got a friend in me at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
