We are planning to go to Disneyland Paris parks for 2 days and then spend 2 days in the city of Paris with our kids. Can we only pay for 2 park days in the Disneyland hotel and still day there 2 other nights without going to the parks? Thank you!

    Bonjour!

Welcome to planDisney, Sarah! Thank you for visiting us with your question about your plans for a European adventure to Disneyland Paris! I have been lucky enough to visit all of the Disney Parks around the world, and in my opinion, Disneyland Park in Paris is the most beautiful of them all! I can't wait for you to experience it, too!

A visit to Paris is so easy when staying at Disneyland Paris. Did you know there is a train station right next to the Disney Village? So visiting the City of Lights will be a breeze!

The Disneyland Hotel is a great choice for enjoying a 5-star stay in the heart of Disneyland Paris. In fact, this hotel is located right at the entrance of Disneyland Park. On the Disneyland website, you can only book Hotel + Ticket Packages rather than room-only stays. Sarah, you can call Disneyland Paris to enquire about room-only prices and make a booking. It would be a good idea to also check out the price for a Hotel + Ticket Package for the full length of your stay, as in my experience it can often work out the same price or cheaper to go for the package over a room-only stay due to how heavily discounted the Disney Park tickets are.

Also, as you are looking forward to a summer 2026 stay, it is very likely that the nighttime spectacular Disney Tales of Magic at Disneyland Park will be showing nightly at 22:40, so you may have the opportunity to visit Paris for the day and enjoy the magic of a Disney fireworks display at night. 2026 is set to be a big year for Disneyland Paris, with the opening of Disney Adventure World! Whilst no final opening dates have been set, we know it will be in 2026, and will feature World of Frozen AND a brand new nighttime spectacular at Adventure Bay! So, having a few extra park tickets may come in really handy!

I hope this answers your question, Sarah! If you have any more questions as you continue to plan your vacation, please reach out to me. I'd love to help. Happy planning!

    See ya real soon!
