Hi Eric, and thanks for visiting us at planDisney! I’m so sorry to hear that you’re not feeling well and aren’t able to visit
EPCOT. But I’d be happy to chat about what you can do with your theme park ticket.
Disney World tickets are nonrefundable, but if your ticket is unused, you can generally
reassign the ticket to someone else on your
Family & Friends List or change the ticket start date by paying the difference in price (if the new date is more expensive). You can do this in the
My Disney Experience app by pressing ☰ in the lower right corner and going to My Tickets & Passes. Find your ticket, and you should see options towards the bottom to Reassign Ticket or Change Ticket. However, since you don’t anticipate visiting soon, I’d recommend calling the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone number to explain your situation. A Cast Member would be happy to talk through your options and help you figure out the best way to use your ticket.
Before I go, I wanted to share a little gem you can enjoy at home. The
Play Disney Parks app has an At Home Fun section with activities like Disney Parks Trivia and attraction-themed games like Andy’s Boardgame Blast! and Rocket Race. They’re a fun way to sprinkle a bit of pixie dust on your days at home.
I’m sending all the healing vibes your way and wishing on a star that you’ll be able to reschedule your Disney World visit very soon! If you have any other questions, we’re always here for you at planDisney.
