We're planning a girls weekend June 29-July 2nd. We'll just be visiting Epcot for 1 day--the other days will be spent at the spa, shopping, & the luau! What resort is good for relaxing by the pool/beach that also has a good location? Any other tips?

    Hi Audrey!

Sounds fun - can I come too?? Just kidding, but boy, it sure does sound good!

Since you'll be spending quite a bit of time at your resort, your focus on finding one with great amenities and and atmosphere is spot on.

If price isn't an option and deluxe resorts are in the budget, I can highly recommend the Polynesian. The location can't be beat - you'll be close enough to walk to the Grand Floridian for spa treatments, shopping and great dining. You are also close enough to stroll to the monorail at the Ticket and Transportation Center, making traveling to Epcot super easy. On your relaxing days, the Polynesian beach is a perfect place to relax. At night, you'll even be able to watch Wishes from the beach (complete with music!).

For a more budget friendly option, another great resort is Port Orleans French Quarter. The grounds of the resort will transport you to the Old South. Downtown Disney is just a short boat ride away for all your shopping, dining and nightlife needs! Plus, the beignets served at this resort's food court are the perfect, decadent way to start off a morning!

Hope you have a wonderful and fun girls weekend!
