    We are planning on getting the Deluxe Dining Plan for 8 nights, was wondering what we should plan for tips? Trying to budget!

    Hi Nicole,

    Your tip should be based on 18% of what you would have paid for your meal if you had been paying out of pocket rather than with dining plan credits. 

    To get a sense of what that cost might be, you should head over to the independent website allears.net. They have the complete menus for nearly every restaurant at Walt Disney World. You can map out a few sample meals that fit your family's dining style (meals for a family of vegetarians would likely cost less than meals for a family of steak lovers) and then estimate what 18% of those sample meals would be. From there you can extrapolate tip expenses for your entire stay.
