We are planning to do a gender reveal at Disney World. We are wanting to do it with a Mickey and Minnie meet and great but wasn’t sure if that was still an option.

    Hiya, Rebekah!

Let me first say CONGRATULATIONS to you on your exciting news! We're so excited to hear that you'll be adding a little Mouseketeer to your happy crew. There's nothing quite like announcing the arrival of your newest bundle of joy at The Most Magical Place on Earth! While there isn't an official way to plan a gender reveal at Walt Disney World Resort, there are a few steps you can take to make this moment an extra magical one. I'd love to help!
    • Think about picking up a pink and blue balloon, a Mickey and Minnie plush, or even pink and blue cotton candy! Then, coordinate a special photo to be taken with a magical location in the background. You could even enlist the help of a Disney PhotoPass photographer! Once the gender has been revealed, you can snap a few pictures with the corresponding item.
    • You can meet Mickey at Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom Park or Mickey and Minnie (separated) at Red Carpet Dreams in Disney's Hollywood Studios. When you arrive, speak to a friendly Cast Member and kindly explain your idea and that you're hoping to snap a picture, revealing the gender of your little one. While nothing is guaranteed, they'll do their best to make this a special moment for you!
    • Consider booking a Capture Your Moment photo session! They have opportunities in Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. This is a great way to have your own photo session to treasure this moment!
    • Remember the moment by stopping by Guest Services or the front desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel and asking for an "I'm Celebrating" button! You could also get a pair of your little one's first Mickey ears embroidered at Curtain Call Collectibles that I'm sure you'll treasure forever (just as my pal, Mandy!). Talk about an extra special souvenir!
Rebekah, I'm sending you all the faith, trust, and pixie dust on your upcoming trip! Wishing you health and happiness as you embark on this magical adventure!

    See ya real soon,
    Michelle
