We are planning our fourth trip to WDW in May for ten days with our three year old grand daughter! We were thinking of the end of May beginning of June but would prefer the week before that but it runs into Memorial weekend. Is it a lot more crowded then?

Welcome back to the Mom's Panel, Theresa!  How exciting that you are planning your fourth trip to Walt Disney World!  What magical memories you will create with your granddaughter in the "Happiest Place on Earth!"  My family almost always plans our Walt Disney World Vacations for the week in May that leads into Memorial Day Weekend. My children love to finish their last day of school and then head to their favorite vacation destination!  During the week prior to Memorial Day Weekend, I have never found the parks to be overly crowded and we have always been able to experience all of the attractions on our "not to miss" list while experiencing many of them multiple times.  We often plan a non-park day for the Saturday or Sunday during Memorial Day Weekend. We visited Walt DIsney World May 23rd through May 29th this year and enjoyed a great week with mild temperatures and moderate crowd levels. Although the Epcot  International Flower & Garden Festival will officially end May 19, 2013,  you may find that many of the beautiful topiaries are still up for display throughout Epcot as we experienced this past May. My strategy has always been to plan our Walt Disney World Vacations before most schools have officially dismissed for the summer months. I hope this helps!  Please feel free to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Theresa!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
