Hey there, Callie! Welcome to planDisney!
Can you believe you're only a few weeks away from your vacation to
The Most Magical Place on Earth? I bet you're feeling a little like
Cinderella waiting for the clock to strike midnight! You're sure to have a special trip starting the moment you land at the airport. From magic carpets to pumpkin carriages, I'd love to help you with your transportation to your Disney Resort hotel!
Callie, at the time of this writing, complimentary bus transportation is
no longer available from the Orlando International Airport to the resorts at Walt Disney World Resort. But Hakuna Matata! No worries! That doesn't mean that you don't have a few great options available to you to get from the Orlando International Airport to
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Of course, you can use a ride-share service such as Lyft or Uber. You can also use transportation services such as Mears Transportation or The Sunshine Flyer. Personally, I always use Mears for my transportation to and from the airport when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. I find the process to be easy, clear, and efficient and we've always had the best experience! I also want to remind you that
complimentary bus service is still available from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to the parks, Disney Springs, and the water parks as just
one of the many resort benefits available to you. However, my favorite resort benefit is the ability to magically enter the parks 30 minutes prior to official park opening with
Early Theme Park Entry!
Before you arrive, be sure that you've made your
theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to reserve your desired parks for each day of your trip. And take some time to download and explore the
My Disney Experience app! This app will allow you to unlock everything that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer – you can check wait times for attractions, access
virtual queues, and even
mobile order food.
If you have any other questions, please visit us again. After all, you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
