We are planning our first WDW trip with our 5 year old twin boys. We're planning experiencing everything Star Wars. What are some other things to check out for boys of this age?

Hello, Christina! Your boys are going to have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World. It sounds like you're planning a really great first trip!

Since you mentioned that you plan to spend time checking out the Star Wars attractions, you will probably spend a bit of time at Disney's Hollywood Studios. While you're there, make sure to check out Toy Story Midway Mania! and Fantasmic!

At Epcot, your twins might enjoy Soarin' and Test Track. These are two of my 5-year old's favorite rides, and she could ride them all day if I'd let her!

If you plan to experience a Character Dining meal during your stay, I really think Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort could be a great option for your boys. Mickey and friends mingle with guests, sign autographs and pose for pictures! It's also a fun monorail ride from Magic Kingdom Park, which is one of my 5-year old's favorite things to experience on our Disney vacations.

The Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage is another great option for you and your family to experience a bit of unique entertainment outside of the parks. The ship sets sail from Disney's Contemporary Resort, and offers an amazing view of the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular right from the water!

I hope that you have a very magical Walt Disney World vacation. Happy planning, Christina!
