We are planning our first WDW trip for out three kids (ages 6, 5 and 3) for this coming March. Can you tell me what the temperatures will be like, including the weather conditions on a normal March day in central Florida.

    Hi Patricia,

Wow how great, the kids first trip to Disney World. I bet they are so excited! March weather in central Floria is typically very nice. The temperature averages between the upper seventies for highs and the mid to upper fifties for the lows. Although it is not one of the lowest months for average rainfall (3.2 inches by the way), it is nowhere near the amounts they get in the summer months. Over the years, our March vacations have been gorgeous with sunny days and warm, but not hot and humid, temperatures.

Be sure to check out the forecast prior to your deperature and pack accordingly. A great place to look is weather.com and choose the Kissimmee area. Regardless of the forecast, it is always a great idea to pack a sweatshirt and rain poncho "just in case". I am sure we both know how dependable the forecast can sometimes be.

On an unrelated note, be sure to ask for 1st time visitor buttons upon your arrival. These can be picked up at your resort front desk or any of the Guest Relations locations at the parks. The kids will have a great time celebrating the news with everyone that this is their first visit. Hope you have a magical trip!
