    Hi! We are planning our first WDW trip with our children (13-boy,11-girl,9-boy & 7-girl). Our trip dates are 8/29-9/3 at the Wilderness Cabins. Is it worth the money to get the Park Hopper Passes? We would also like to go to a water park.

    Terri,

    I do love the Park Hopper action as kids get in the older range like your oldest two. However, I would say that you might consider saving the money for the following reason;

    You are on your first trip to Walt Disney World. Every park has a wealth of things to do for you, since everything is new. So I don't expect you will often get the "I have seen everything here, let's go somewhere else" feeling.

    Now as for the water park, unless you are going to go to water parks more than once, the Water Park Fun and More option probably won't make financial sense. I would just buy tickets at the water park gate for that one visit. Oh, and if you are planning to visit a theme park that same day, I would suggest that you go to the Animal Kingdom that morning. Of the four parks, it might be the one where you say, "OK, we saw all we need to see here" and avoid using a whole day for a return visit.

    I hope that helps?

    Have a magical vacation!
