We are planning our first trip with our 3 year old and almost two year old in September. What is the best place to stay taking into account distance from the parks, entertainment for toddlers and of course price?

    Kim,

The good answer is that any Disney resort is going to be a good choice. But that is not exactly what you were asking, was it?

So let me tell you, by resort class, what are the best choices, in my opinion.

Deluxe Resorts: Polynesian or Wilderness Lodge
The Wilderness Lodge is a bit lower in cost than the other Deluxe resorts, and has a great location for a family with younger children. I say that because the boat access to the Magic Kingdom is great, and the resort is very entertaining. But the Polynesian has optimal location, being on the monorail, and is just a really fun place to stay.

    Moderate Resorts: Port Orleans Riverside
Any of the four would be good, but this one edges out the others for entertainment and the great Downtown Disney access.

    Value Resorts: Pop Century
Again, costs are all the same, but the location is just a bit better than the three All Stars.

I am more than glad to take any of your follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
