    I am planning our first trip to WDW next year. If we buy a package, could I just buy an extra day worth of tickets instead of the park hopper? Just in case we wanted to switch parks once.

    Hi, Leslie! Congratulations on your trip! May it be the first of many! I'm glad you asked this question now instead of being disappointed later. Unless you have the Park Hopper option, you will not be able to visit a different park from the first one you enter for the day.  When you enter the first park of the day, your theme parks tickets without the Park Hopper option are only valid for that theme park that day. You may leave and reenter that park ONLY.  The base ticket package provides admission to ONE Disney theme park per day.  In order to visit more than one park a day, you must add the Park Hopper option to your package.
