We are planning our first trip to WDW for May 2013. My daughters will be 5 and 1 1/2. I'm so overwhelmed by the dining plan options. Do we have to buy a dining plan for our 5 year old or can she share our meals with us?I understand the little one can share

Hi Amanda!  You are correct in that your younger daughter does not require a dining plan option.  She is welcome to eat off your plate or you have the option of purchasing a kids meal for her.  For your older daughter, as she is above three, she requires a dining plan.  It is policy that all guests staying in the same resort room and are age three and above must be on the same dining plan.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
