    Planning our first trip to WDW for our daughter's 5th birthday! We are going to AK on 12/2 and have reservations at House of Blues in downtown Disney at 4:45. We will be driving our car, what time do you think we will need to be leaving AK? Thanks!

    It sounds like you are planning a really fun trip!

    I would recommend starting to head over to Downtown Disney at about 3 or 3:30 (depending on where you've parked). You'll also want to keep an eye on the parade crowds as well: the Jingle Jungle parade is scheduled for 3:45, so you may run into some congested areas in the park as people begin to find their perfect spots for viewing the parade.

    This should give you plenty of time to drive over to Downtown Disney, park, and find the House of Blues to check in. In fact, I am usually pretty conservative, so this may even give you a little time to check out a store or two before dinner.
