Hi- We are planning our first trip to Walt Disney World this summer for our children! We are all very excited!! We are coming the 2nd week in June, what can we expect- very busy??

Hi Brenda! Congratulations on your first trip to Walt Disney World! How exciting! Walt Disney World is the most magical place on earth! You and your family are going to love it.

June can be a busy time of the year, given that many schools are out for the summer by the second week in June. I always like to check the crowd calculator at touring plans dot com to check out the crowd levels for a particular timeframe. For a small cost (which is well worth the money) they report projected crowd levels on the calendar, using a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most crowded and 1 being the lightest.

The same experts who put together the Unofficial Guide to Disney World manage this site, making it a great resource for planning your trip to Walt Disney World.

It looks like the second week in June will be fairly moderate and actually less crowded than July. There are some special events going on at Walt Disney World in June including Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios. Make sure to check it out!

Please let met know if you have any other questions about planning your vacation.

    Magically,
    Stacy
