    We are planning our first trip to Walt Disney World in October and I am overwhelmed. Do we have to purchase park tickets before we make character meal reservations? What is the best way to make the reservation, online or over the phone?

    Don't feel overwhemed Erika, you've come to the right place! No, you do not have to purchase park tickets prior to making your dining reservations, and I highly recommend making them as soon as your 90-day mark hits. I must say I'm loving the new on-line dining reservation system, and suggest you start there. It allows you to book at 6 am 90 days from your reservation date, which is an hour earlier than the telephone (407 939-DINE) lines open. It is straightforward and easy to use, and offers alternate times and locations if your request isn't available.
