We are planning our first trip this Nov. 2010. We will be traveling with our 10yr. old son. I don't know which resort to stay at? I like the carribean beach resort, saratoga springs and Wilderness lodge. My son wants a good pool? Any suggestions?

    Natania,

Of the three you mentioned, I would choose Caribbean Beach or Wilderness Lodge.  The best resort pool can be found at the Beach Club, but of course it comes with a higher price tag as well.

Caribbean Beach has just been completely renovated.  The rooms are done in either a Finding Nemo or Pirates of the Caribbean theme (The pirate rooms are *so* cool!), and the pool area has been redone as well.  There is a pirate ship splash park for younger children, and a very large zero-entry pool for big kids, which also includes two water slides.  With the recent improvements made here, I'd say this pool is one of the best on Disney property.

Wilderness Lodge is just beautiful.  I can't say that it's super unique or has any major differences from pools at other resorts, other than the breathtaking scenery.  And watching a geyser erupt or fireworks go off while you swim is just a really cool thing.

    Hope that helps!
