We are planning our first trip with our new little one (she will be 11 months). I know we have to include her in dining reservations, but do we need to notify anyone when we are booking a dessert party that there will be an infant with us? Thank you!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Katie! Making dining reservations is a very fun part of vacation planning!

You do not have to notify the dining location that you will be bringing your little princess but you can certainly do that, by adding a note next to the reservation you will make on the website, My Disney Experience app, or by calling (407) 939-1947 and speaking directly to a Cast Member. Remember, she must be included in the party size, though. Also, if you or someone in your family is celebrating something, please also indicate that when adding your note or speaking to the Cast Member assisting you.

Remember that Baby Care Centers are available at each theme park all day long. If your baby needs a break during the dessert party or at any other time during the day, rest assured that you will find all the comfort from home at these locations. Baby Care Centers feature a private nursing room with rocking chairs, a changing room with tables and a unisex bathroom. They also have a feeding area with highchairs, a kitchen with a microwave, an oven, and a sink. The main room has a television, a table, and chairs. Access to these facilities is absolutely complimentary.

Katie, I hope this information is useful to you. Have a truly magical vacation with your family!

    See you real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
