Planning our first trip and need ideas for our first day at DW. We will be staying at Beach Club(we are driving and will be staying of site the first night so we enjoy a full first day). Whats the best way to spend the day? Kids are two boys ages 6 and 8

Hi Amanda! Our first full day at Walt Disney World is almost always spent at the Magic Kingdom, so you might get a bit of biased reply from me! Since it's your first trip, I definitely recommend that to be your first stop! It is the epitome of Disney, and there is something for everyone. Your boys are the perfect age, and you will easily fill up your first day at this park.

You might want to consider getting a reservation for a character meal at Crystal Palace. It's one of our favourite character meals, where you'll enjoy one on one time with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet, all while enjoying a great buffet. Click here to access the Magic Kingdom calendar, and be sure not to miss the parade and Wishes fireworks.

The Beach Club is a fabulous resort. Stormalong Bay is a fantastic pool, and they have fun activities that your boys will love! Be sure to roast marshmallows on the beach and watch a movie, which are offered in the evenings.

    Have a magical vacation Amanda!
