We are planning our first trip to DW next Jan or Feb with a 4 yr and a 6 yr how many days should we allow for each park. We do not plan to go to any water parks but would like to know if it is warm enough to go swimming at the hotel pool? Melissa

    Hi Melissa,

Disney in January and February can be tricky with the weather. I have been there when two sweatshirts were not enough and when capris were not cool enough. I would definitely check a weather station before you leave for vacation.

As for swimming, the pools at all of the hotels are heated to 82 degrees. This is comfortable most of the year.

As for the number of days, I would stay no less than four whole days-so do not count the day arriving or departing. This will allow you time to explore each of the parks at your leisure. You may need a little more time at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT but the other two parks are only a day.  Animal Kingdom closes early so you could "hop" back to Magic or EPCOT to finish.

    Have a great trip!
