    We are planning our first trip to DW in Jan. 09, I want to get in to Cinderella's Royal Table for my daughter, with the lighter crowds in Jan- will it be hard to get a reservation?

    It doesn't matter when you are traveling; it is ALWAYS difficult to get a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table. This is small restaurant with extraordinarily high demand.

    The best method I know for trying secure this reservation is described in great detail in the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. This book is available at most larger bookstores in the US and on Amazon.com. I think it's a must-purchase for any Disney traveler, but especially for one trying to reserve Cinderella's Royal Table. The relevant pages for you in the 2008 edition are 336-340. (That's 4 full page of teeny type tips of how to get a reservation!) I am practically a professional at this and have secured many Royal Table reservations using the Unofficial Guide method, but even I have not always been successful with the timing. I strongly suggest that you do not make promises to your children about this meal until you actually have your reservation.
