We are planning our first trip to disney with a 5 year old and 15 month old in April 2014. We've planned to stay at all-star movie resort for 7 days. Should we just visit 2 parks or all 4? Don't want it to be overwhelming.

    Hi Jennifer!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!

You are going to have an amazing time! I know that Walt Disney World can seem overwhelming, but I have  a few tips to help you keep it fun and carefree.

Since you are staying seven days, you can definitely visit all four parks. The thing you want to keep in mind, more than the number of parks, is the amount of time spent at the parks and number of attractions visited.

Plan to take a midday break so your little ones can rest back at the resort. Wake up early and arrive at the parks upon rope drop so you can experience the parks with limited crowds. Then go back to the room around lunch time to allow for naps, lunch and rest. you can even take a few hours to relax at the pool if everyone is up to it. After you're rested, head back to the park that evening to watch the fireworks.

Make sure to plan at least one rest day in your vacation, preferably mid-week, so you can take a break from the parks.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
