We are planning our first trip to Disney World in December and are curious if the week of Dec 15-22nd is considered the busiest or is considered the week before Christmas and thus less crowded, we all had different opinons based on the FAQ answer. Thanks!

    Hi Emily,

The week of Dec 15-22 is MUCH less busy than the following week. I just double checked the Crowd Calendar on the independent website They are projecting that from Dec 22-January 2 will be a crowd level 10, on a scale of one to ten.

The week you've chosen has a has level 8 as the highest crowd level (on two of your days, and even a 3 day and a 4 day during your trip). You won't feel like the parks are empty, but the crowds won't be nearly as thick as the week that actually includes Christmas.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
