Hello, Albania, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
My family's first visit to
Walt Disney World Resort was to celebrate our daughter's third birthday, so your question is near and dear to my heart. Thanksgiving is also one of our favorite times of the year to visit, as the weather is typically wonderful and I absolutely love the way the Theme Parks--especially
Magic Kingdom Park--are decorated for the Fall.
Walt Disney World Resort is open 365 days a year: Thanksgiving and Christmas included! These do tend to be some of the busiest times of the year, though, as many families opt to spend their holidays (especially when the kids are out of school) at The Most Magical Place on Earth. While
Park Hours are always subject to change, you can check out the Walt Disney World Resort website's calendar to see the projected times for your November visit. Typically Park Hours are posted 180 days in advance, so you should see the Thanksgiving week hours near the end of May.
Since you're looking at a visit during Peak season, I would strongly recommend staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel. With complimentary transportation to and from the Parks as well as access to
Extra Magic Hours, on-property accommodations will enhance your visit so much more.
As you get closer to your 180-day mark, please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions. We'd be happy to help you make your daughter's birthday a magical and memorable one.
Amy
