Planning first trip to disney. Been told to stay at a magic Kingdom Monorail hotel. any recomendations on Moderate or Deluxe places? Pro/Cons of any.

Hi Eddie! Congratulations on planning your first Disney vacation! The monorail resorts are all deluxe resorts, and each offers up its own personality. All resorts offer boat, monorail and bus transportation, with lots of activities for guests.

The Grand Floridian Resort is awash in elegance. That being said, all guests are most comfortable and there's so much to enjoy. There is a wide variety of restaurants for all budgets, and is a short monorail to the Magic Kingdom.

The Contemporary Resort is my new fave. This modern resort is ideally located beside the Magic Kingdom, and the monorail runs right through it! I love that you can also walk to the Magic Kingdom, which is so relaxing after a busy day in the park. This would be my choice.

The Polynesian Resort will immediately set you in the South Pacific. Gorgeous and relaxing, and a super fun pool with volcano slide.

Please write back if you have any other questions as you plan your Disney vacation Eddie!
