    We are planning our first trip to Disney this Spring. We were hoping to let our 5yr old son do the Pirates League makeover. My questions are - How long does the makeover take? Does he get to keep the costume? Do I need to make an appointment? Thanks!

    Hi Jodie! Both my children have joined the crew at The Pirates League, and it was a fantastic experience! The pirate transformation takes around 30 to 45 minutes. I recommend you call 407-WDW-PLAY for an appointment, because it can book up at times.

    The makeovers at The Pirates League run about $30 and include the following, all of which you can keep:
    • Choice of one of 5 facial effects
    • Reversible bandana
    • Earring and Eye Patch
    • Sword and Sheath
    • Temporary Tattoo
    • Personalized Pirate Oath
    • Pirate Coin Necklace
    • Official Pirate Name
    • Removable Teeth
    • Participation in a daily Adventureland Pirate Parade
    Costumes can be purchased for an additional cost if your son wants a complete head-to-toe pirate look.
