Planning our first trip to Disney in September. We've booked at the All Star Sports resort but are wondering if we are allowed to use the pools or recreational things at other resorts. Also, are we allowed to eat at the restaurants featured there as well?

In general, using the pools at the various Disney resorts is not allowed. As a guest of the All Star Sports resort, you can use the pools there, as well as at All Star Movies and All Star Music. Beyond that, "pool hopping" at the other resorts is not permitted.

You can, however, take advantage of many of the other features at the Disney resorts. Anyone is allowed to dine, shop, or just explore at any of the WDW hotels, regardless of where they are staying. Whenever I visit WDW, I always make dining plans at 4 or 5 resorts other than the one I'm staying at.

You can also take advantage of many of the recreational opportunities at the resorts. Here are just a few of the resort-specific activities you can take part in:

    - Campfire and Petting Zoo at Fort Wilderness
    - Carriage ride at Port Orleans or Fort Wilderness
    - Fishing at Port Orleans or Fort Wilderness
    - Animal Viewing at the Animal Kingdom Lodge
    - Boat rentals
    - Bike rentals
    - Spa services
    - Tennis
    - Kids club babysitting
    - Evening entertainment at the Boardwalk

Have a great time discovering all Walt Disney World has to offer.
