Hi Moms. We are planning our first trip to Disney in Orlando and have quite a few questions to ask. First, is it better buying tickets there or in advance? I hear that you have better options if you buy it there as you get some on discounted prices.

    Prakash,

I don't see any advantage to waiting to buy tickets when you get to Orlando. I prefer to have all my plans set and done long before I get there, just to get it off my mind.

Also, I like to buy tickets with whatever package I am getting in advance so that I can get the Disney Dining Package. That is something you can't get once you arrive, it has to be ordered no later than a few weeks before you get here.

If you are not staying at a Disney resort, I suppose you can wait until you get here, but I would not hold out hope for any specialty pricing.

    Have a magical vacation!
