We are planning our first trip to Disney in November of 2015.Is there a way to tell what type of transportation is provided at each resort? There will be 5 of us.

Hi Wendy! What a great question! One of the best perks of staying at a Disney resort is that transportation to Disney theme and water parks, Downtown Disney and other resorts is all complementary. Depending on resort location, there are boats, buses or monorails!

The Grand Floridian, Contemporary and Polynesian resorts all offer monorail transportation to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Buses are available to other locations, and boats take guests from the Grand Floridian and Polynesian to the Magic Kingdom. In addition, you can walk to the Magic Kingdom from the Contemporary resort, which is so convenient!

Guests at the Boardwalk, Beach and Yacht Club resorts can walk or boat to both Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. So handy!

If you're staying at Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter, you'll love the boat ride to Downtown Disney. Buses are also available to all other parks.

All other resorts provide regular bus transportation. Taxis are also readily available at resorts and theme and water parks.

Hope this helps with your decision making Wendy! Write us back with any other questions.
