    We are planning our first trip to Disney. We will be there from Nov 23 - Nov 30. I am confused as to when the parks decorate. When is Mickeys Christmas Party schedule posted. I was told early summer, but 180 booking of restaurants for me Memorial Day.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Congratulations on planning your first trip to Walt Disney World! You will be visiting during an especially magical time of year when the theme parks and resort hotels are brimming with holiday cheer and festive decorations! Traditionally, the holiday decorations start to appear toward the end of the first full week of November, so your timing of your visit will be perfect. 

    Last year (2012) tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party went on sale May 1st. In 2012 the Christmas Party was held on the following dates: November 9, 12, 15, 16, 25, 27, 29, 30: December 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13,1 4, 16, 18, 20, 21. The Party runs from 7:00 PM to midnight. 

    Tickets for the 2013 Christmas Party dates should be available for purchase well before your 180-window for booking your advance dining reservations on Memorial Day. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is quite a popular special event in Magic Kingdom and many dates do sell out, so I recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Party tickets can be purchased online by following this link to the Walt Disney World website Special Event Tickets page or by calling 407-WDISNEY (407-934-7639). 

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is truly an entertaining experience for guests of all ages! The Party features a spectacular holiday parade, special fireworks, and two different holiday stage shows, not to mention the magic of snow falling on Main Street, U.S.A.! Guests can also meet some of their favorite Disney characters who are all decked out in holiday attire.
