We are planning our first trip to Disney and we have not told our daughters yet. It is a Christmas gift. Is there a fun way to let them know?

    Hi Regina,

I'm going to point you over to the independent website blog.touringplans.com. Last week they ran an article called, "How to Surprise Your Kids with a Trip to Walt Disney World." There are MANY ideas there for ways to let your kids know that you'll be going on a WDW vacation.

    A few highlights:

    - Dress a plush Mickey, your dog, the child’s babysitter, or anyone else special in a “You’re going to Disney World” tee shirt.
    - Order a cake from a local bakery. Ask them to decorate it with a “We’re going to Disney World” message.
    - Make a crossword puzzle or word search with all Disney-related clues.
    - Have your child pose for photos (like the family holiday card photo) instead of asking them to say “cheese” ask them to say “We’re going to Disney World.”

Or wrap up a box with Disney vacation staples (autograph book, sunscreen, etc) and see how long it takes them to figure it out.

    Have a great time surprising!
