    Hi. We are planning our first trip to Disney in June. We are bringing our 2 older kids, 10 yr old boy and 7 yr old daughter. While we are there our daughter will be turning 8. Super excited!! What are some things you recommend to do with kids this age?

    Hey Tim! First of all, let me congratulate you on booking your very FIRST trip to Walt Disney World! Make sure to stop At City Hall in Magic Kingdom and get the commemorative "1st Visit" buttons. Cast Members are so welcoming at the parks and will be sure to acknowledge your special event! I've taken my children to WDW at various stages in their young lives and just a few years ago were the ages of your children. In my experience, they can ( and will!!) want to do EVERYTHING!!! They will love the thrill attractions as well as all the classic ones available at the theme parks. Taking pictures and getting autographs is a great way to commemorate your trip. Experience DisneyQuest in Downtown Disney, which is a kids entertainment dream! Lots of virtual attractions for the kids who love video gaming and being creative. Spent an afternoon at Innoventions in Epcot. There is plenty of interesting activities to participate in AND there's air conditioning!!! Try Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure in Epcot. It's a great way of leaning a little more about the countries represented! (Soon to include Phineus and Ferb characters in Agent P's World Showcase Adventure!)
