I am planning our first trip to disney I have a few resorts in mind. My question is will it be cheaper to book your stay a couple months ahead or a couple weeks? What time of yeat will it be cheaper to go for a family of 5?

    Hi Yadira!

In general, the rates at Walt Disney World are set by the time of year you are visiting and by the resort you are staying at. Throughout the year, Disney does have special discounts and promotions. These are found on the Special Offers page of the website.

If you have already booked your vacation and a special offer becomes available the good news is that, as long as the discount applies to your vacation dates, it is almost always possible to apply a newly released discount or promotion to an existing reservation. If the hotel and room category you booked is available under the promotion, it can be applied. In case the discount is not available with your current resort choice, you are often given the opportunity to change resorts and/or room categories.

The most economical times of year are non-holiday and when schools are in session. September through early November and January and early February often are among the lowest cost times to visit.

Hope this helps! Please be sure to let the Moms Panel know if we can help with additional questions!
