We are planning our first trip to Disney! We are so excited but I was wondering if you had a good recommendation of what shoes to wear? I know everyone's go to is tennis shoes, I want sandles but I don't want blisters. Any suggestions??

    Hi, Trish!
Thanks for checking in with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have found it's possible to wear a lot of different types of shoes at Walt Disney World Resort. No matter the type of shoe, make sure it's something you have used many times. I often wear closed toe sandals. I've also worn sneakers and even dressy shoes. No matter what, I've never worn brand new shoes. Anytime I've worn a pair of shoes that I'm unsure will work, I have carried a secondary pair of shoes just in case. You never want to ruin a trip to Disney World because your feet are covered in blisters!

Worst case? You can use a store in your resort to track down a bandage or two to help keep you moving during your vacation!

Let me know if you have any more questions before your trip starts!
