We are planning our first trip to Disney with our children- ages 4,6,and 8. What Character Dining Experiences geared towards both genders?

Hi, Shawntel!  I think you will find with few exceptions, most of the character meals are suitable for both boys and girls.  Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary features Mickey Mouse and his friends, and who doesn't love Mickey Mouse?  You'll find the Cape May Character breakfast has Minnie, Goofy, and some other favorites; and the Garden Grill at EPCOT has Farmer Mickey and his pals.

The breakfast at 'Ohana is great fun for kids.  My girls love it and my nephews always have a blast.  The characters there are Lilo and Stitch and a few other Disney favorites.  Donald's Safari breakfast is also a big hit with my gang.

And don't forget, especially with younger kids, you can find Winnie the Pooh and his pals at the Crystal Palace, and Hollywood and Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios has a great lunch buffet with characters from the Little Einsteins.

Characters are subject to change at any restaurant, so just double check when you book your reservations that at least as of the time you call, you know what to expect.

Have a great time!  What wonderful ages to be bringing kids!
