I am planning my first trip to Disney in April. I have sons 11 and 13 . I am overwhelmed by all the options. So far I have booked the New Orleans French Quarter Resort with the Dinning Plan. What must sees/dos can you recommend for my family.

Try not to let it overwhelm you, it actually sounds like you are doing great.  I think you will truly enjoy the French Quarter and I never go to Disney without the dining plan.  Two good choices so far.
There are so many special things to do at WDW on a first trip, and everyone has their favorites.  One of my all time favorite attractions is Fantasmic which takes place every evening at Hollywood Studios.  Simply put ... it's incredible.
If your boys love rides don't miss Expedition Everest at AK , Rock n Rollercoaster at DHS, Test Track at Epcot or Splash Mountain at MK.  I promise the adults will have as much fun, if not more, as your sons.  They may enjoy pin trading, so check out all the great pin selections and then let the trading begin.  No matter what all you do, just enjoy your time at WDW.  I truly believe it is the most magical place on earth.
