I am planning a first time trip to WDW for Tgiving week. I have purchased the dining plan that allows 1 tble srv meal per day, but am not finding ANY reserv avail that wk ( excpt maybe Sushi for bfast!). Should I cancel my Dining Plan?!?!

    Hi Katie,

Sushi for breakfast sounds delicious! I am not sure I could take the wasabi on an empty stomach. Here are some options before letting go of the dining plan all together.

Did you look at dining in the resorts? These restaurants offer great meals and a chance to get out of the parks for a little bit especially during the busy seasons. Plus at Thanksgiving, the holiday decorations are beautiful! Some of our favorite restaurants are Cape May Cafe, 1900 Park Fare, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Big River Grille, Whispering Canyon Cafe, The Wave, 1900 Park Fare, Citricos, Boma or Jiko-the Cooking Place.

Did you look at Downtown Disney? There are fun restaurants such as Bongos or Wolfgang Puck.

Next, look at off times for meals. Later lunches or earlier dinners and you might need to call to get better options.

Finally, if this does not work, I might reconsider the dining plan as you would lose money.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
