    We are planning our first stay as dvc members at the grand Floridian in January 2016 and have learned so much from your panel. My question is about the release of Fantasmic dinner package times after January 3, 2016...when will reservations be available?

    Hello Chris!

    Your question currently has me sitting in my “Thoughtful Spot” like Winnie the Pooh in the 100 Acre Wood. As far as I can find, Fantasmic! is not scheduled for refurbishment or closure during that time. I did go to the Walt Disney World Website and try to book it myself, and I can see the days appear open, but I am getting told there is no availability when I try to find a table.

    I asked some of my Disney Parks Moms Panel friends, and Sue mentioned that she too had difficulty when booking the Fantasmic! Dining Package for her December trip. She found that the booking window opened a couple months later than it should. I wish I had an answer as to why this is or when it will open for you, but at this time I don’t. I would recommend you continue to check back on the Disney Parks Website regularly and keep trying!
