We are planning our first family vacation to WDW for this October. We are a family of 5 & that puts us in Villas. My daughter and I have auto-immune diseases. I need help on so many levels. HELP PLEASE:)

    Hi Karen,

I know that planning a Disney vacation can seem stressful, but we're here to help. You can ask us anything about trip planning: how to cope with specific medical issues, whether specific attractions are appropriate for your family, itinerary planning, budgetary issues, restaurant advice, or whatever else you can think of. Everyone on the Moms Panel has been to Walt Disney World dozens of times, but we were all first timers once and we remember what it was like. So take a deep breath and start sending us LOTS of specific questions. That way we can give you the targeted advice you need.

As a first step, I'll tell you that the villa resorts are WONDERFUL, but they are not your only option as a family of five. There are rooms that sleep five in all resort categories. Also, depending on the specifics of your medical issues, you may be eligible for a Guest Assistance Card which gives guests with medical needs special consideration on some attractions.

So, right now, send us five of your biggest questions/concerns about planning your trip and we'll get you pointed in the right direction!
