Hello! We are planning our first family vacation to WDW for June 2015. I'm trying to budget for food. What can I expect pay for the basic dining plan per person per day? Are the ages of our kids a factor too?

    Hello Brandy,

For many Guests including the Disney Dining Plan, in their Magic Your Way Vacation package, is an excellent way for them to budget for a Walt Disney World vacation. While Disney does not provide a breakdown of the cost, for the Disney Dining Plan, some well known non-Disney sites have estimated the pricing. Allears.net, disneyfoodblog.com and disneydining.com, are some excellent resources, and are avergaing the Standard 2015 Disney Dining Plan, give and take a few dollars and depending on the season, for Guests Ages 10 and up to be $60.00/night/Guest and Guests Ages 3 to 9 to be $19.23/night/Guest.

As stated in the 2015 Disney Dining Plan brochure, "The Disney Dining Plan includes one (1) Quick-Service Meal, one (1) Snack and one (1) Table-Service Meal per person, per night of your package stay for everyone in the party ages three and over. The plan also includes one (1) Rapid Fill Resort refillable drink mug per person, that is valid for the length of your stay (eligible for refills at self-service beverage islands at Quick-Service locations at any Disney Resort hotel)."

I hope this information is helpful, in planning your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World, and feel free to visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel for any further pixie dusted assistance.
