Hello, we're planning our first family Disney vacation in April 2013, I was wondering how much money we should budget on a daily basis for a family of six (three adults and three children [ages: 6,3, and 2])? We are renting a villa near the parks.

    Hi Irma!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

This is a really hard question as it really depends on where you would like to dine and what each member of your party might order.  That's because I'm not including park souvenirs or park tickets in your daily budget.  If you assume only one Table Service restaurant each day then I would plan on about $50 per adult and $30 per child for food.  To help you get a better sense of how much money you should budget for, I recommend visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  At All Ears, you can find the menu, including prices, for all of the Table Service and Quick Service restaurants in Walt Disney World.

With regards to park souvenirs, you can get inexpensive trinkets to very expensive jewelery and one of a kind items.  Basically there is something for every taste and budget.  To give you a feel of the prices, you can generally pick up a t-shirt for about $20 to $30 and a polo shirt for about $50.  Of course, those prices can change at any time!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
