We are planning our first family Disney cruise (mom, dad, 2 and 4 year old boys) in January. We end in Puerto Rico, our flight leaves at 3:40pm. Is there a time we HAVE to leave the ship by? I had hoped for some pool time before leaving.

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Natalie!

I am thrilled to hear that you will be taking your family on your very FIRST high seas adventure on the Disney Wonder!  I cannot wait for you to experience all of the magic included when you sail with Captain Mickey.  Get your packing lists ready and download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, you are going on a Disney cruise!

Debarkation day is always my least favorite day of vacation!  It is so sad to think that at some point, your magical getaway has to end.  Typically, all guests must debark the ship on their final day by 9:00 AM.  This is to allow the crew to prepare the ship for the next sailing.  Most of the ship's amenities, including the pools, will be closed to guests on this morning.  The rotational dining rooms and Cabanas will be open for your family to enjoy one final breakfast before you say goodbye.

If you are looking for some suggestions on how to spend your time in San Juan before your flight leaves, stop by the Port Adventures Desk while onboard.  The Port Adventures staff has experience in each port and can provide some great recommendations for how you can explore Puerto Rico before you fly home!
