Planning our first DW trip during September and want my son to watch the Wish fireworks on his birthday. I know not so scary is happening some days during our trip, but how do I find out which days MK will be open normal/EM hours so I can plan accordingly?

    Hi Sarah,

How exciting for your first trip to Walt Disney World and your son's birthday!  You have double the reasons to celebrate.  The Disney Parks calendar has all of the information you need to plan birthday fireworks viewing.  If you have not done so already, download the My Disney Experience app on your phone which will give you additional tools and the ability to plan your days so that you will not miss a magical moment.

Don't forget to stop at Guest Services at any of theme parks and ask for a complimentary "Happy Birthday" button for your son.  You'll never know what surprises may be in store on his special day.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  We're happy you gave us the opportunity to help you with your trip.

    Be Magical,

    Leanne T.
